Senior women's basketball player Joy Sanders (Baltimore, Md./Cristo Rey Jesuit) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Sanders netted the clinching shot in Washington's win over Ursinus on Saturday, scored in double figures versus McDaniel on Tuesday and pulled down double figures in rebounds at Franklin & Marshall on Thursday.

Sanders drained a jumper with 2:17 to play to give the Shorewomen a 43-35 lead in a 46-41 win over Ursinus on Saturday on Senior Day in the home finale. On Tuesday versus McDaniel, she scored 10 points, and two days later at Franklin & Marshall, she grabbed a contest-high 11 rebounds. 

This is Sanders' fifth career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
