Senior women's basketball player Serena Pluta (Townsend, Del./St. Mark's) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Pluta tallied a pair of double-doubles and averaged a double-double of 13.3 points per game and 10 rebounds per game in three games last week.

Pluta scored a game-best 18 points, which was also a season-high, and tied for tops in rebounds with 10 against Swarthmore on Thursday night for her first double-double of the week. Two days later at Muhlenberg, the senior grabbed a game-high and season-best 13 rebounds to go along with a squad-topping 17 points. In a 52-41 win last Tuesday over visiting McDaniel, Pluta corralled seven rebounds.

This is Pluta's third career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
