Junior women's basketball player
Kaitlyn Boggs (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Boggs set the program record for blocks in a game and tallied a double-double in the Shorewomen's season opening 50-39 win over visiting Salisbury.
Boggs set the Washington College record for blocks in a game with eight in addition to tallying 10 points, a game-high 12 rebounds and four steals to tie for contest-best. The junior set the program record with 2:57 to go in the fourth quarter on a layup attempt by Salisbury as she had a block in every quarter.
This is Boggs' fifth career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
