Sophomore men's lacrosse player
Cam Carrigan (Jarrettsville, Md./John Carroll) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Carrigan tallied a career-high in points in the Shoremen's 18-14 win over visiting #20 Gettysburg on Saturday as they clinched their first trip to the Centennial Conference Tournament in nine years.
Carrigan scored a game-high six points on three goals and three assists in the four-goal victory in the squad's first win over Gettysburg in 10 years. The sophomore scored all three of his goals in the first quarter in helping WC race out to a 7-4 lead after one. He assisted on what proved to be the game-winning goal with 13:57 left in the fourth quarter that gave Washington a 15-10 advantage.
This is Carrigan's first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
