LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior center
Kaitlyn Boggs (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week in women's basketball for the week of February 17-23. This is the second time Boggs has won the Centennial's weekly award this season and in her career.
Boggs averaged 21.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.5 steals per game in a 2-0 week as the Shorewomen secured their fourth straight trip to the Centennial Conference Tournament. On Saturday in a 56-50 win over visiting Ursinus, Boggs tallied game-bests of 23 points and five blocks, while tying for team-high in rebounds (9) and four steals as Washington College clinched a home game in the first round of the CC tournament. In a 59-41 victory at Haverford on Wednesday, the junior scored a game-best 20 points and pulled down nine boards.
Boggs previously won the award on November 26, 2024.
