LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior attacker
Piper Evans (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse for the week of March 9-15. This is Evans' second time earning the Centennial's weekly award this season and third time in career.
Evans scored eight goals and added five assists for 13 points in two games in Florida this past week, including tallying her 100th career point in the win over Bridgewater St. on Thursday. In Wednesday's 20-11 win over Merchant Marine Academy, the senior led all players with five goals and tied for game-high in points with seven. In Thursday's 19-4 victory against Bridgewater St., the senior netted three goals and three assists, which tied for game-high, for six points to go along with two ground balls. Evans recorded her 100th point, becoming the 39th player in program history to do so, assisting on a
Malery Andrews goal that gave Washington a 5-2 lead with 12:26 to go in the second quarter.
Evans previously landed the award on April 2, 2025, and earlier this season on February 24.
