Evans Repeats as CC Offensive Player of the Week for Women’s Lacrosse

Secures Weekly Award for Second Consecutive Week, Third Time This Campaign and Fourth Overall

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior attacker Piper Evans (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week in women's lacrosse for the week of March 16-22. Evans has now garnered the Centennial's weekly award three times this season and landed it four times overall.

Evans tallied 10 goals and netted 11 points in a 2-0 week for the Shorewomen. On Tuesday in a 15-13 win over visiting St. Mary's (Md.), the senior led all players with six goals and seven points and tied for tops in the contest with four ground balls. Evans figured in the team's first two goals in an 18-second span of the first quarter, scoring the first and assisting on the second. The senior would put WC ahead for good at 5-4 with a second quarter score and netted what proved to be the game-winning tally with 8:49 to go in the fourth quarter that gave the squad a 14-10 lead. She scored in all four quarters in the game. In Saturday's 13-9 victory against Dickinson to commence Centennial play, Evans tied for game-best with four goals, scoring one goal in each quarter.

Prior to the past two weeks, Evans previously landed the award on April 2, 2025, and earlier this season on February 24.
