Junior men's lacrosse player Peyton Gestole (Sudlersville, Md./Queen Anne's County) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Gestole tallied 12 points on a six goals and six assists in a 2-0 week for the Shoremen as the team is 3-0 in Centennial Conference for the first time since 2015.

In Wednesday's 15-9 win at Ursinus, the junior led all players with five goals and eight points and tied for tops in the contest in assists with three.  He factored in five of WC's 10 first half goals with two goals and three helpers and in the second half, scored three of the team's five tallies. The attackman in Saturday's 14-9 triumph at Franklin & Marshall handed out three assists, including helpers on the sixth goal in the first quarter that capped a six-goal run by WC and on the game-winning score which gave Washington a 10-6 advantage with 52 ticks to go before halftime.

This is Gestole's first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
