Senior baseball player Anthony Sofran (Woolwich, N.J./St. Augustine Prep) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Sofran set career bests in innings pitched and strikeouts in a game in Friday's 19-5 win at Gallaudet in the Bison Baseball Classic.

Sofran tossed a career-best seven innings of four hit ball with one run, zero walks and a personal-high eight strikeouts in the Shoremen's 19-5 win over Gallaudet on Friday. He tossed a pair of 1-2-3 innings as he picked up his first win and the team's first victory of the season.

This is Sofran's first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
