FAIRBANKS, Alaska (D3baseball.com)/GREENSBORO, N.C. (ABCA) — Two student-athletes from the 2026 Washington College baseball team have earned D3Baseball.com and American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) All-Region honors.  Recent graduate, infielder Drew Kinsey (Monkton, Md./Hereford) was tabbed All-Region 5 first team by D3baseball.com and All-Region V second team by the ABCA and rising sophomore, outfielder Brett Connolly (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown STEM) was tabbed ABCA All-Region V and D3baseball.com All-Region 5 second team.

This is the second time Kinsey has earned all-region honors and Connolly's first time being selected all-region

Kinsey is now a two-time all-region selection from both D3baseball.com and the ABCA, first team on both occasions from D3baseball.com and second team twice from the ABCA. He set the Shoremen record for runs scored in a season (60) and walks in a campaign (37), while setting a personal-high for stolen bases in a season (29) and on-base percentage in a campaign (.510) to lead the team. The senior hit .347 with eight home runs, 34 RBI and career-bests of hits (50), doubles (10) and triples (3) and equaling most times hit by a pitch in a season (15). He started in all 42 games this season, which set a program record in games played and started in a season. Kinsey finished his career hitting .330 with 31 home runs, 109 RBI, 137 runs scored, second all-time at Washington, 149 hits, 28 doubles and seven triples in 133 contests, 130 starts.

Connolly, an All-Centennial Conference first team pick and the Centennial's Rookie of the Year, set program records in hits (67) and total bases (125) as he hit a team-best .409 with 12 home runs and 52 RBI, placing second in both homers and runs plated. The rising sophomore led the team in triples (6), slugging (.762) and on-base plus slugging (OPS) (1.211) to go along with six sacrifice flies, which tied for tops on the club, 49 runs scored, 10 doubles, 13 steals and an on-base percentage of .449 in 40 games, 39 starts. Connolly, who set the conference mark for most home runs by a freshman with 12 and tied the Centennial record for most hits in a season by a freshman with his 67, had at least one hit in his final 10 games and 19 of the final 20.

Since 2011, the Shoremen have had 12 named all-region by the ABCA and 10 by D3Baseball.com.
