Senior baseball player
Logan Yi (Alden, Va./John Champe) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Yi had a hit in all six games the team played in Florida this past week.
Yi hit .625 (15-for-24) with 10 runs scored, two doubles, one triple, a home run, seven RBI and three steals with a .679 on-base percentage and a .917 slugging percentage in six games this past week in Florida for a on-base plus slugging (OPS) percentage of 1.396. He opened the week on Monday with a 3-for-4 performance against Westfield State with two steals and two walks, an RBI and missed out on the cycle by a home run in a 13-5 win. In Friday's 19-4 win over Thiel in the team's first game of the day, he went 4-for-4 with five RBI to tie his personal-best, three runs scored and a home run. Later in the day versus the College of Wooster, the senior went 3-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. He went 2-for-3 on Tuesday against Monmouth College (Ill.) and on Saturday went 2-for-4 with an RBI versus Western Connecticut. On Thursday versus Earlham, he worked out two walks, scored twice and netted a base hit.
This is Yi's second career Shoreman of the Week honor.
