Box Score Grantham, Pa. – The visiting Shoremen fell quickly to Messiah Thursday afternoon. Two homeruns from the Falcons allowed them to take the win, 7-2.

How It Happened
Messiah's first at bat of the game set the tone for the Falcons as Isaiah Parido tripled to center field. One batter later and he touched home plate as his teammate Beard tallied the RBI.
The first run of the game for the Shoremen came in the second inning. Will Turner singled to right field to get on base, the next batter up, Reece Hirsh, hit a double to center field which allowed Turner to come home. Washington held Messiah 1-1 going into the third as the Falcons struckout with one player on base in the bottom of the second.
The third inning was not so lucky for the Shoremen, Messiah's Jarrett Gordon homered in the first at bat of the third for the Falcons. Two singles and a double later for the Falcons would have them up 5-1 going into the fourth inning.
The second run for the Shoremen came in the fifth after Tahir Parker was batted in off a Cole Mcgee single to right field which would be the last hit of the game for the Shoremen. Messiah sealed it away with another homer to left field from Gordon in the bottom of the sixth.
