Junior baseball player Drew Kinsey (Monkton, Md./Hereford) is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Kinsey set the Washington College single season and career on his way to hitting  .471 (8-for-17) with five home runs, 10 RBI and eight runs scored in five games this week.

Kinsey hit the first of his five homers on Tuesday versus #2 Johns Hopkins in the last of the seventh inning. The next day at Widener, he socked his 20th career home run to tie the program record in the top of the eighth inning in an 18-17 win as he went 2-for-5, with three runs scored. On Friday at #2 Johns Hopkins, he became the school's all-time leader in longballs with a three-run homer in the top of the first inning, his 21st all-time longball, and in his second at bat three innings later, went deep again on a solo homer as the junior went 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs scored. On Sunday against Gettysburg in game one, he socked a three-run homer in the bottom of the fourth to set the WC mark for single seasons taters with 11 and extending the program's all-time home run record to 23. In game two versus Gettysburg, he went 2-for-4 with a RBI and run scored.

This is Kinsey's first career Shoreman of the Week honor.
