Brianne Brynelson Robben still remains a member of the fastest boat in school history.  

In 2001, Brynelson was part of the womens four that finished fourth of 58 boats at the Head of The Chester Rowing Event. Her boat was the first among all college boats to finish the race. 

In 2002 the team was ranked first in the Mid-Atlantic and seventh in the nation and was the only Division III boat competing in the Varsity Eight Final at the 2002 Murphy Cup.  

Brynelson is one of 15 Womens Rowers in Washington College history who was named to an All-American Team. She was named a Second-Team Member in 2002.  

Brynelson recieved the Thomas Reeder Spedden Medal in 2002. The Medal is a Washington College Athletics Department Award gifted to a senior student-athlete for their outstanding achievement in athletics and academics. In addition to the medal, Brynelson also earned the Doris T. Bell award which is given out to the female student athlete that holds the highest GPA.  

Upon her graduation in 2002 with a degree in Psychology, Brynelson Robben earned her Masters degree and has been working with the Department of Defense since 2005. 

Washington College considers it an honor and a privilege to induct Brianne Brynelson Robben into the Athletic Hall of Fame this twenty-seventh day of September 2024.
