Justin Daniel ranks behind only Washington College Hall of Famer and All-American Bill Williams in career points and goals in Shoremen soccer history.

Justin was a top goal scorer for the Shoremen from the moment he first stepped on to the Kibler Field pitch, scoring nine goals and assisting on three others as a freshman during the 1997 season. The following season, Justin found the back of the net 16 times and also notched eight assists as he scored or assisted on 24 of the Shoremen’s 39 goals in 1998. His 40 total points that season is the highest single-season total by any Shoreman in team history other than Williams. He was named an All-Centennial Conference honorable mention and picked up All-Region honors as well.

During Justin’s junior season, he scored 11 goals and added seven assists, facoring in 18 of the Shoremen’s 34 goals on gthe year. He was named to the All-Centennial Conference second team that season. As a senior, Justin scored 14 goals and added seven assists to play a part in 21 of the Shoremen’s 38 goals on the year. He capped off his career by picking up All-Centennial Conference first-team honors and once again being named All-Region and helped lead the Shoremen to the semifinals of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Tournament.

Justin ranks second in Shoremen soccer history in total points with 125 and second in career goals with 50.  He is also third all-time in career assists with 25. He stayed in Chestertown following his graduation to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the team.

Washington College considers it an honor and privilege to induct Justin Daniel into its Athletic Hall of Fame on this 19th day of October, 2019.
