Megan Morse collected 12 Centennial Conference Medals during her time with the Swimming Program here at Washington College. The All-American Honorable Mention Athlete held multiple records at the time of her graduation and her name remains strong in the record books today. Â
At the time of her graduation in 2009, Morse held the school record in the 100 meter freestyle. Today she sits at number three on this list. She is fourth all time in the 200 freestyle, sixth all time in the 500 freestyle, and sits eigth all time for the 200 individual medley. Â
She medaled at the Centennial Conference Swimming Championships twelve times. Three individual golds, two individual silvers, one individual bronze, one relay gold, two relay silver, and three relay bronze medals. Â
During her time in Chestertown, Morse also collected eight All-Centennial Conference Honors. These honors consisted of, three first-team individual, one first-team relay, two individual honorable mentions and two honorable mention relay.Â
Megan Morse was awarded the 2008 Senior Athletic Award at the end of the year which is an award given out by the Washington College Athletic Department to the senior that produced the most athletic achievement during their time in a Washington College Uniform. Â
Upon graduating with an English Degree in 2009, Megan has served 11 years with the Maryland Judiciary Committee and is currently Deputy Director of Administrative Services for the District Court of Maryland. Â
Washington College considers it an honor and a privilege to induct Megan Morse into the Athletic Hall of Fame this twenty-seventh day of September 2024.Â
